Endura Racing launch without their kiwis

thumb_Endura_Racing_logo_Sep_09Jan 30th, 10.  Endura Racing launched their team in England this week while their two kiwi signings, Jason Christie and Jack Bauer, were riding the Trust House Cycle Classic here in NZ.

"It would have been nice to be there, but you can't be everywhere at once," Christie told RoadCycling.co.nz this morning.  He added the weather was much nicer in New Zealand at this time of year.

Both Bauer and Christie are racing in this week's Trust House Cycle Classic then competing in the Track Nationals in early February before joining their UK based team.

"I'm looking forward to joining the team," said Christie.

The launch followed months of hard work and dedication from the whole of the Endura Racing set-up.

"The scene is set now", said a clearly excited team captain, Rob Hayles, former World Champion and double Olympic medallist.

"Today's nerves quickly turned to confidence and pride as the morning went on. It has been a perfect send-off for the guys as we now embark on our race programme – it really is up to us now!" he said.

Watch the video below for a taste of Endura Racing, their kit and their Look bikes, something Christie is particularly looking forward to.
